340B Program Manager Pharmacy / VOLOL Camden
Responsible for the day to day management, compliance review, and operations of the 340B program including: clinic administered medications in eligible locations, mixed use areas managed by split billing software, outpatient prescriptions fulfilled by an owned pharmacy, and outpatient prescriptions fulfilled by a contract 340B pharmacy. This position is the key internal liaison to key stakeholders to help ensure appropriate and maximal usage of all our 340B programs, including the contracted 340B pharmacies. The Pharmacy 340B Program Manager will evaluate the required documentation for compliance for all aspects of the program as well as the revenue and expense reports produced for the contract pharmacies and ensure on-going compliance with HRSA and all State and Federal statutes.
Ensures the 340B pharmacy program is continually compliant with 340B federal regulations. Identify compliance issues that need to be self -disclosed to HRSA and manufacturers. Compile and prepare data from split-billing software, wholesalers / distributors to present to team leaders as well as internal counsel with preliminary action plans for each impact report.
Tracks, trends and reports 340B pharmaceutical sales and purchases data to insure provider/physician and patient eligibility. Performs monthly benefit tracking for all contract pharmacies, bi-weekly hospital account percentages, monthly cost-savings as well as specialty breakdown such as chemo (and others as needed).
Utilizes appropriate operating systems/portals to complete the following tasks: maintain the NDC crosswalk and unknown items list, complete audits of contract pharmacies to check patient status, dates of admission / discharge and providers against prescription information; complete daily audits from the hospital 340B, GPO and WAC accounts to confirm correct multiplier/package sizes for program compliance; check for Medicaid (FFS) claims to ensure patient status matches account ordered.
Position Qualifications Required:
Retail and/or hospital pharmacy experience with drug wholesaler application.
340B split billing software experience.
Analytical and project management skills
Ability to review EMR to confirm patient eligibility
Retail and hospital billing
Bachelor's Degree required; significant (10+ years) 340B program experience considered in lieu of degree.
Training / Certification / Licensure:
340B University Certification preferred
