Clinical Data Specialist, Full time

Job Summary:

Assists with the maintenance of quality and other data/dashboards/SharePoints including production and continuous upkeep of documents and reports. Investigate and follow-up on data discrepancies. Back-up Site Administrator/Data Specialist for database including: communications, data entry of all reported metrics, reportable unit maintenance and required/requested reports. Responsible for monthly data collection and entry. Gathers benchmark data, which supports high-level summary reports done by the Director.  Provides occasional administrative assistant support.

Position Responsibilities:

Provides data entry and reporting support for quality indicators and other metrics tracked across the organization.

Accurately and efficiently enters quality data into a national data base.  Communicates with database representatives, as needed to resolve data issues.  Meets all deadlines for data submission/entry.

Produces standard and ad hoc reports based on available data. Supports the collection and submission of data and tracks and reviews to ensure that data is accurate.

Additional Responsibilities:

Assists with administrative assistance and support as needed including but not limited to preparation tasks for Magnet/Regulatory site visits, Nursing Council meeting minutes i.e. Behavioral Health Committee Council Meetings, Creation/Maintenance of SharePoint Site and data posted there. Follow-up on nursing dashboard or technical issues.

Position Qualifications Required:

Required Experience:

Excellent computer skills:  Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization. Critical thinking and analytical skills are required. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Required Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent.  Some college preferred.
