HR Systems Analyst - Workday (Remote)
Summary:
Acts as a technical resource for HR Systems (Recruitment through Payroll) and ensures performance and reliability. Troubleshoots user issues and escalates as appropriate, works with functional experts to define user requirements and identifies opportunities for system or process enhancement. Consults users on technology changes that will impact work processes. Continuously recommends system enhancements and new methods to gain efficiencies within HR and Payroll to achieve goals.
Position Responsibilities:
Maintains current daily HR System activities including – business process functionality, data validation, content/data migration, integrations, building conditional rules, reporting, new releases and supports HR peers and employed/contracted end users across the organization.
Creates reports within HR Systems by understanding and triaging business needs internal/external to HR, including calculated fields. Ensures meaningful and actionable report output. Validates and tests report structure to ensure security of information. Schedules delivery of reports to gain efficiency. Documents report specification and usage. Develops dashboards to capture organizational performance for management.
Identifies opportunities to optimize implemented HR Systems by understanding HR business requirements. Applies system new release knowledge to current system configurations. Completes visual data flow tools, process mapping and presents recommendations to HR Management.
Trains HR and Payroll Team members (current and new hires) on HR system usage and Microsoft Applications as necessary. Documents procedures for system users and creates articles.
Attends HR System conferences and external networks to identify best practices and knowledge shares findings with HR Leadership.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:
3-5 years technical system experience with a focus on system performance, data integrity, and complex reporting. Workday expertise required, including newest technology and product offerings. Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work independently and be proactively inquisitive. Advanced level experience with Microsoft Office products.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required.Degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Services, Business, Quantitative Methods.
