Job Summary:

Under direction of the Manager, Biomedical Engineering, directs daily operations of assigned location. Provides safe and properly functioning clinical equipment systems and electronic instrumentation in a cost-effective manner. Maintains accurate inventory and regulatory compliance.

Position Responsibilities

Inspects, trouble-shoots and repairs clinical equipment systems and electronic equipment.

Completes work orders and documents completion of work orders and outcomes.

Maintains equipment records and accurate inventory.

Sits on various local committees including, but not limited to, EOC committee.

Attends training as needed.

Responsible for installation and inventory of biomedical equipment

Processes equipment recall and alerts according to procedures

Coordinates project onset, implementation and debriefing for ongoing process improvements

Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications Required:

Required Experience: Minimum of seven years’ experience in the Biomedical field with demonstrated knowledge of specialty, life-support, and non-life support equipment. Proven organization and interpersonal skills.

Required Education:High School Diploma/equivalent. Associate’s degree in Biomedical Engineering preferred.

Training/Certification /Licensure: Valid driver’s license required for travel between sites

Hourly Rate: $38.33 - $59.58 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
