EEG Tech Part-time Saturdays / VOLOL Camden

Work Schedule:
This is a Saturday position (7am to 7pm) and 1 Sunday per month.
On Call 7pm-12am for emergent LTM only ordered by neuro.
Remaining weekly hours are flexible with time and location and can be discussed.
NICU and Evoked potential experience is not required.
Position includes PTO.
Summary:
The neurology technologist is responsible for providing various electroencephalogram studies (EEG, EMG, Evoked Potential) as ordered by a physician for patients from neonatal to geriatric age.
This individual will provide clinical oversight for non-registered technicians performing EEG procedures.
In addition, this individual will act as a super-user/system administrator for the digital EEG system and long-term EEG monitoring systems.
Position Responsibilities:
• Performs various types of electroencephalogram studies.
• Obtains patient history from medical record, documents information in digital EEG system. Ensures patient orders and charges are correct and appropriate.
• Maintains the digital EEG and long-term monitoring systems. Clips long-term monitoring studies to reduce required server space.
• Provides clinical oversight for unregistered EEG technicians. Ensures and measures the clinical quality of EEG procedures performed.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:
A minimum of one year adult and pediatric neurology experience preferred must be in a clinical setting.
NICU/PICU experience required.
EMG and Evoked Potential experience preferred.
Knowledge of digital EEG systems preferred.
Required Education:
High school education.
College education preferred.
Graduate of accredited EEG program.
EEG registry required within one year of employment.
Training/Certifications/Licensure:
BLS.
EEG registry required within one year of hire.
Hourly Rate: $28.63 - $44.54 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
