Clinical Onboarding Specialist - Marlton - PT
Job ID: R1063724 Type: Part Time Location: Marlton, New Jersey Standard Hours: 16 Shift: 1st ShiftThis position partners closely with Virtua Talent Experience Team to ensure new hire employees are effectively guided through a positive onboarding experience.
This role coordinates the clinical clearance process and oversees all required clinical pre-hire onboarding requirements, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for new employees.
This role supports both clinical and non-clinical functions to ensure timely and compliant employees onboarding while delivering an exceptional level of service to candidates, leaders, and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Talent Experience Team to support Virtua’s Talent Experience model
- Manage clinical clearance and pre-employment onboarding requirements
- Ensure all onboarding activities are completed accurately and within required timelines
- Perform clinical and non-clinical tasks to facilitate smooth employee onboarding
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support throughout the hiring process
ONBOARDING
- Manage and coordinate Virtua new hire employees onboarding medical records including laboratory results, drug screens, provider reviews, pending items, and additional clearance documentation from treating providers, in collaboration with the Occupational Health provider.
- Coordinate the status of forensic clearances by working directly with new hires, Virtua Talent Experience Team, and the Medical Review Officer (MRO).
- Ensure timely, accurate, and professional communication with the Virtua Talent Experience Team regarding medical clearances for all new hires.
CLINICAL SUPPORT
- In the absence of the clinical LPN, will administer vaccinations (under the direction of the provider), perform phlebotomy, vital signs, collection of urine drug screen, and breath alcohol testing as needed.
- In the absence of the WC clinical coordinator, supports the functions of this role including RTW request.
- Provides training to new clinical team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPPLIES
- Assist in receiving all medical supplies in Oracle
- Re-stock supplies in exam rooms as directed
Position Qualifications Required:
Required Experience:
Minimum 1 year of direct patient facing, healthcare experience
Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience in healthcare or occupational health preferred.
Proficiency in electronic health record systems and scheduling software.
Required Education:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Training / Certification / Licensure: Certification in breath alcohol and urine drug screening., Certified Medical assistant license
Hourly Rate: $21.85 - $32.83 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
