Job Responsibilities

Report/Dashboard Maintenance:

  • Overseesavoluminousreport and datarepository with a focus on streamliningreportlibrarywithadditionalprompts and filters, incorporating implemented operational business changestimelyand evaluating current valueaddto organization.  

  • Coordinatesmonthlyreview of scheduled reports to ensure recipient list is current, information isutilizedanddeliverycriteria supports organizationalneeds.

  • Validates all modifications andauditsfull suite ofcustomreports for consistent tagging,descriptionsand formatting.

  • Managesadherence to reporting guidelines tomaintainreport uniformity andexpandsstandard operating procedures accordingly.  

  • Activelyparticipatesandidentifiesreport modificationsrequiredfor year-end transition and manages deliverables.

Report/Dashboard Design, Architecture, Testing:

  • Leads the design and development of HR reportsand dashboardswith a focus on self-serve and application acrosssystem.  

  • Supports the translation of businessneeds totechnical specifications for report development. 

  • Monitors report development andchecksin with team regularly to ensure positive direction and movement.  

  • Reviews,validates, and signs off on all newly created reportsProactively engagesteamto investigate and resolvereportvalidity shortfalls

Report/Dashboard Optimization:

  • Consistently researches new reportingtechnologyand partners with HR Leadership in evaluating value add and return on investment.  

  • Collaboratewith other industry reporting professionals to explore new reporting advancements.  

  • RepresentsVirtua in community forums and networking eventsto gather best practices and upcoming product intel.

  • Confidentlyknowledge sharesresearch,experienceand partners in the development of a strategic reporting technology business plan.

Report/Dashboard Deployment:

  • Adheres to change management processes and ensures submissions aretimelyand follow guidelines. 

  • In partnership with HR Leadership,recommendswhere reports and dashboards will belocatedandapp connectivityto supportseamlessself-serve capabilities.  

  • Identifiesneedfor report/dashboard help text and guidelinesOutlines the creation and implementation of reportreference materials(articles and announcements)Coordinates operational training, conducts workshopsand demonstrations as needed topromoteuser adoption, increasing customercomfort while navigating reports/dashboardsand interpretingresults.

Report/Dashboard Customer Success:

  • Monitors case management and ensuresthe successfulandtimelyfulfillment of report requests.  

  • Supportsreportingteamduringtriagingrequestbyproposinginsightful and clarifying questionsandsynthesizingreport specificationsbased on customer discussions.  

  • Upondelivering finished product, proactivelyconnects with customers tomeasuresatisfactionand gathers feedback forfutureprocess improvementin reporting

Position Qualifications Required:

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years of progressive technical system experience with a focus on advanced reporting, datatransformationand optimization.

  • Workdayexpertiserequired, including report product offeringssuch as:Prism, Discovery Boards, People Analytics, etc.

  • Advanced level experiencerequiredwith Excel, Workday business processes and reporting including BIRT, advanced, matrix, compositereportsand calculated fields.

Willingness to be immersed in healthcare operations to successfully synthesize industry practices with available technology. Proventrack recordmeeting target dates within time, quality and cost while managing paralleldeliverables. Consistentlyexhibitspatient,flexibleand comprehensive leadership toteamof professionals.  Creates an environment of commitment withinteamby encouraging engagement, recognizing achievements, setting goals,prioritizingand delegating equitably with clear expectations.Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skillsStrong analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to apply them to a variety of situationsProven success insolving challengesindependently and communicatingsolutionobtainedMust be able to work independently and prioritize team responsibilities to meet deadlines.Strong aptitude to presenting data that is meaningful, tells a story and actionable to leadership.  

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degreerequired. 

Degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Services, Business, Quantitative Methods. 

Training / Certification / Licensure:

Technology certificationspreferred. 

Completion of Management/Leadership training programs.

Annual Salary: $110,912 - $177,972 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Virtua’s annual incentive compensation plan (AICP). The amount is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan document.
