Summary:

The Respiratory assistant provides support for Licensed Respiratory Therapist.

Duties that can be performed by unlicensed personnel.

The Support includes equipment, billing, cleaning and storage of supplies.

Position Responsibilities:

• Cleaning of Dirty Equipment, provide supplies to department, oxygen rounds on patient floors.

• Assign charges of patients for procedures, answer phones, type department meeting minutes, page therapist for emergencies.

• Provide Oxygen Tanks to each department. Retrieve empty tanks from each floor.

• Empty Mar books on 4th floor and 3rd floor, Supply ICU, ER, PICU, NICU with special supplies.

Required Education:

High School Diploma.

Hourly Rate: $17.65 - $22.87 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
