Courier - Hospital at Home - Part Time

Transports materials throughout designated areas in a safe and timely manner.
Maintains a clean driving record and follows all New Jersey driving laws. Responsible for reprocessing all returned equipment.
Position Responsibilities:
Delivery and pick up patient care items for Care at Home programs. Updates the courier log to ensure all proper records are accurately documented and maintained.
Drives Vehicle Safely at all times, maintaining a clean driving record.
Coordinates with care team to create the best possible schedules and route for meeting department objectives. Communicates any potential delays with care team and patients.
Must supply own vehicle. Maintains a clean vehicle and inspects their vehicle daily to ensure that the vehicle is in proper working order.
Reprocessing equipment to ensure all infection control policies around cleaning, disinfection, and supply equipment management are followed. Trouble shoots issues with malfunctioning equipment to minimize downtime.
Adheres to policies and procedure of the organization including HIPPA, infection prevention standards.
Position Qualifications Required:
Required Experience:
2 years driving experience. Ability to lift and carry packages as needed. Knowledge of patient care equipment. Effective communication skills, written and verbal. Good time management skills.
Required Education:
High School degree or equivalent
Hourly Rate: $17.83 - $23.91 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
