Medical Director - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU) - Camden, NJ

Virtua Health in Southern New Jersey is actively recruiting for a Physician Medical Director for our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU).   This is a full-time opportunity with focused delivery at Virtua Our Lady of Lourdes in Camden, NJ.  Qualified candidates should be trained in Critical Care Cardiology and have an outstanding record of commitment to clinical service, research, and substantial administrative experience.

Comprehensive care for treating and preventing heart disease includes clinical cardiology services, advanced techniques in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery including a renowned ECMO and growing LVAD program, a robust interventional cardiology program including cutting-edge structural interventions, comprehensive electrophysiology with arrhythmia and device services. We specialize in the treatment and follow-up care for people at all stages of heart failure and its complications with particular focus on critical care of the cardiac patient and advanced therapies.  In addition, we take part in clinical research, evaluating new medicines, devices and procedures in heart care.
