Revenue Cycle Analyst -Ambulatory Surgical Center (Hybrid)

Job Summary:

The Ambulatory Surgical Center Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible to develop, track and analyze revenue cycle and statistical reporting for the Virtua ASC Joint Ventures to maximize revenue cycle operations, improve processes and monitor the Centers’ performance. 

Position Responsibilities:

Responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of the patient accounting data and business office metrics. Coordinating reporting with centers Preparing revenue cycle data related to the centers’ budgets and actual data. Analyze trends utilizing dashboards on a bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Provide support to management in the revenue cycle management process and distribute reports as appropriate. Responsible for the coordination of the rate matrix and the fees schedules for the ASCs, making sure they are updated periodically.

Supports process improvement efforts of internal and external customers by providing detailed root cause analysis. Develop tools and create standards for tracking and monitoring revenue cycle processes for center-specific financials and budgets and mentors and coaches Business Office Staff.

Provide educational and financial analysis to Virtua and Center management to adequately monitor patient accounting transactions, budgeting, accounts receivable management, or other analysis of existing or proposed services.

Assists with gathering and analyzing data for Internal Audits and for Managed Care  as well as perform due diligence for proposed centers.

Accurately gather, synthesize, and communicate timely relevant information and recommendations including the regulatory issues that impact revenue cycle for ASCs.

Position Qualifications Required:

Required Experience:

3 - 5 years experience in finance\accounting .  Ambulatory Surgical Center preferred

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree, in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare, MBA preferred.
